# taipei-trash MCP server > Read-only Model Context Protocol server for garbage-truck stops and arrival times in Taipei, New Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung (Taiwan). No authentication. Times are Asia/Taipei local time. ## Connect - [MCP endpoint](https://mcp.garbage.yukai.dev/mcp): Streamable HTTP, stateless. Serves the 2026-07-28 MCP revision; 2025-era clients are handled through the SDK's stateless fallback. - [Server Card](https://mcp.garbage.yukai.dev/mcp/server-card): `application/mcp-server-card+json`, for pre-connection discovery. - [AI Catalog](https://mcp.garbage.yukai.dev/.well-known/ai-catalog.json): domain-level discovery. - Client config: `{ "mcpServers": { "taipei-trash": { "url": "https://mcp.garbage.yukai.dev/mcp" } } }`. For stdio-only clients: `npx mcp-remote https://mcp.garbage.yukai.dev/mcp`. - Browser clients: requests carrying an `Origin` header are rejected (403) unless the origin is allow-listed. Native and server-side clients send none. - Rate limit: 60 requests per minute per IP. ## Tools - `list_cities`: supported cities with ids (`taipei`, `new-taipei`, `taichung`, `kaohsiung`) and bounding boxes. - `find_nearby_points`: `lat`, `lng`, optional `radiusMeters` (50–2000, default 500), `limit` (1–20), `city`. Nearest stops first. - `search_points`: `city`, `query` (district / village / road / route text, Traditional Chinese, all terms must match), optional `limit`. - `get_schedule`: `pointId` from the other tools; returns the stop plus every stop on its route in arrival order. - Each point: `id`, `city`, `district`, `village`, `location`, `route`, `arrivalTime`, `departureTime` (HH:MM), `latitude`, `longitude`, and for New Taipei and Taichung a weekly `schedule` (type → ISO weekdays, Mon=1 … Sun=7) plus `servesToday`. ## Docs - [README](https://github.com/Yukaii/garbage/blob/main/mcp/README.md) - [Web app](https://garbage.yukai.dev) and its [llms.txt](https://garbage.yukai.dev/llms.txt)
